The Representative has aged a minimum of 2 Congressional Terms (4 Years). The Single Barrel Whiskies are non-chill filtered, and bottled at the exact proof they exit the barrel. Both whiskies were distilled and aged in the historic distillery currently known as MGP Indiana, formerly Seagram’s distillery. The distillery has been producing American Whiskey since 1853.

Nose: Strong notes of vanilla, cherry, and peach.

Palate: Citrus and tobacco, finished with long sweet vanilla notes and spice.

Finish: Full and smooth.

Distillery Information

Although the MGP Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana is relatively unknown compared to other large distilleries, those in whiskey circles recognize MGP as America’s chief supplier of white label product for other brands, both large and small. In fact, several of the most celebrated brands of recent years — including Angel’s Envy, Bulleit, High West and Smooth Ambler — contain whiskey originally distilled at MGP.
