Made with 62.5% corn and equal parts wheat, rye and malted barley with around 30% of the mashing water carried over from the previous fermentation to start the fermentation of the new batch. A must try craft bourbon.
Rock Town Arkansas Sour Mash Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Classic sour mash notes, great complexity, vanilla, cherry, cocoa, wheat. Very good indeed!
Palate: Spicy and dark, molasses, caramel, earthiness, corn and wood spice.
Finish: Chocolate, treacle, fern, rye. Tremendous stuff.

Rock Town Distillery is the first of its kind in Arkansas, an artisan craft distillery that uses grains from Arkansas to distill award winning spirits. They are a grain-to-glass distiller with their corn, wheat and rye all grown within a hundred miles from the distillery in northeast Arkansas.
