This is an award-winning dark rum made from sugarcane molasses sourced from Mauritius. It is a blend of pot still and column still rums that are aged for up to eight years in American white oak barrels. The rum has a deep amber color, with aromas of vanilla, toffee, and raisins. On the palate, it has notes of dark chocolate, caramel, and dried fruit. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of spice. The Arcane Extraroma Grand Amber Rum Mauritius is a great sipping rum, perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks. It also makes an excellent base for cocktails such as the classic Mai Tai.
