Troy & Sons Platinum Moonshine Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: There’s a clean minerality in this whiskey that must be the terroir of the heirloom corn shining through. Quite an impressive feat.
Palate: The mouth-feel is round and full with flavors reminiscent of macadamia nuts and maybe even water chestnut.
Finish: Clean finish.

Asheville Distilling Company (Asheville, North Carolina) are the makers of Troy & Sons Platinum Whiskey, Troy & Sons Oak Reserve and Blonde Whiskey. The distillery opened June of 2011 and is producing premium ultra-smooth moonshine and whiskies.
