Wild Turkey American Honey Sting Liqueur

Wild Turkey American Honey Sting is based upon their American Honey liqueur (itself based upon the popular Wild Turkey whiskey). It uses an additional flavoring of ghost pepper, one of the hottest peppers on record (the company claims its 400 times hotter than hot sauce in their press release). The honey and heat are supposed to be blend for a smooth and exciting spirit.

Nose: On the nose, you'll (naturally) find honey with some black pepper and spice.

Palate: Syrupy with a lovely honey flavor and a spice punch on the finish. Expect some heat that you'll feel moving through your body.

Finish: Scorching finish that is mellowed by honey sweetness.

Distillery Information

In 1869, the Ripy Brothers started distilling on Wild Turkey Hill near Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Their early days went well and their Bourbon — Ripy Brother Bourbon — was selected to represent the State of Kentucky at the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893.
