Red Wine: 2014 | Rudeles | Cerro el Cuberillo
Nose has hints of wood, vanilla and black fruits such as Cassis, cherries and plums. More spices in the flavour like laurel, also hints of tobacco and some more black fruits. There is a perfect balance between the acidity and the tannins, making this wine powerful, but not overwhelmingly. A long silky smooth finish that keeps for well over a minute.

Producer Information
Rudeles is a family project created with the idea of continuing the work of our ancestors who, generation after generation, have been transmitting the passion for the vineyard, its fruit, as well as an almost forgotten wine culture. Rudeles has 4 partners who all have special ties to the town of Peñalba. The Rudeles vineyards are located in Peñalba de San Esteban, in the province of Soria, 900 meters above sea level, on the eastern limit of the DO Ribera del Duero, an area little known for its wines. Peñalba is a small but charming town, with stone and adobe houses. There is no lack of a stream, nor on its banks the poplars and the increasingly scarce elms. Refuge for abantos, alcotanes, bee-eaters, rabbits and cucuruchotas. The smells of lavender, gorse and fresh wheat perfume its sandy, clayey and gravel lands. Pure terroir.
