The Vallepicciola winery is almost a 10-minute drive away from Siena, located in rolling Chianti Classico hills. It is one of the most beautiful wineries in Tuscany from an architectural point of view. The estate has 4000 olive trees, 105 hectares of vineyards, a lake, and several fields. The ecosystem here is diverse, and insects and other predators help in supporting their sustainable viticulture methods. The company is a guardian of Tuscany wines and has the best winemaking facilities, wine shop, tasting rooms, offices, and a Wine Library.The estate has remarkable blocks of vineyards in Siena, with each one having a unique combination of soil, microclimate, sunlight exposure, rainfall, etc. These diverse conditions result in wines with unique complexity and taste. Only natural products are used, and there is no use of chemical fertilizers or herbicides in the vineyards. The best areas are selected for growing Pinot Nero, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The best fruity grapes go into the making of their red, white, rose, sparkling, and dessert wines. Vallepicciola’s Super Tuscans and Chianti Classico DOCG wines have won numerous awards and medals worldwide.
