The "ripasso" technique adds to the wine a greater body and character with an intense and harmonic taste. Ripasso has a ruby red color with garnet reflections and a fruity bouquet with inkling of cherry and plum.

Our story begins in 1919, when the brothers Pietro and Luigi, returning from the Great War, took over the historic Pharmacy of Veronella. From galenic preparations Pietro, enterprising and far-sighted, quickly specialized in the art of liqueur production, using all the knowledge of a thousand-year-old knowledge. His dream was so strong that it overcame the great crisis of 1929: Pietro moved to Verona and created the first industrial headquarters. Then again the shadow of war, which destroys the plants, but not the Spirit. In 1946 everything starts again: he sets off again with enthusiasm and generosity. Giuseppe, Pietro's son, takes over the management of the company and continues its work with determination. After a decade, here is the move to Sommacampagna, to the new headquarters which will allow the company to consolidate; the products, in the economic boom of the 60s, became known and loved everywhere. In '78 here was the third generation, that of Pietro, Andrea and Maria Paola. The company makes a leap in quality: it opens up to the foreign market, purchases prestigious brands, facing the challenges of an increasingly evolved and globalized market. Today Pietro's dream continues to live even with the entry into the company of Federico, the first of the fourth Marcati generation, who carries on the family's liqueur tradition: a tradition that has made history, which is present in more than 40 countries in the world and who never stops experimenting, growing and changing. The scope is certainly international, but the heart remains here, close to our roots.
