Coming from the harmonious blend of our clay-limestone terroirs, this Chinon opens with an intense nose of red fruits. The round mouth has a beautiful silky structure. This is the Chinon of fruit and immediate pleasure, for convivial moments with friends.

Producer Information

Made up of beautiful clay-limestone plateaus and hillsides, it is home to 20 hectares of Cabernet Franc and 6 of Chenin, unique grape varieties of the AOC Chinon. Our vines are surrounded by woods which protect them from frost and storms and are dotted with plots of cereals (triticale, peas, wheat, sunflowers, etc.), all cultivated in Organic Farming. The fauna, both wild and domestic, is not left out. Chickens tirelessly roam the vines closest to the winery. An apiary has been established a little further away for several decades. A flock of sheep grazes the meadows and fallow lands in the summer and grazes on the plant cover of the vines during the winter. Lovers of tufa and heritage, we have undertaken the restoration of old buildings. In addition to the operating buildings, this concerns in particular the cellars and their presses testifying to ancient wine-growing activity.
