Balvenie 16 Year Old Rose Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML

A rare find and characterised by its fruity, rich profile and reddish hue, the Old Rose is a special release that celebrates the dynastic history of Balvenie Castle. When prodcuing this malt, the Balvenie Malt Master selected four casks of Balvenie (distilled in 1991) for a further period of maturation in a first fill port pipe.

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.

Distillery Information

The Scottish Malt Whisky distillery The Balvenie is located on the slopes of the Convals, below the Glenfiddich distillery. It was built in 1892 by William J. Grant, who is also the founder of the sister distillery Glenfiddich.
