Black Maple Hill | Kentucky | Premium Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Black Maple Hill is a label owned by California Vineyards, Inc, a Non-Distiller Producer based in Northern California who sources bourbon and rye whiskies from around the country. Their earliest releases were sourced from Kentucky (via Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, another NDP) until whiskey-mania began to limit the number of barrels that distilleries were willing to sell. With no-age-statement, this is one of the last of those bottles, release bottled at 47.5% ABV.

Nose: Vanilla pod, freshly cut wood, hay and cantaloupe.

Palate: Brown sugar and cinnamon, with hints of cooked apple underneath.

Finish: A lingering warmth of clove and sawdust.
