Caperdonich 25 Year Old Secret Speyside Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML

A creamy, fruity single malt from Caperdronich, matured in a single first-fill barrel for a quarter of a century before being bottled as part of the Secret Speyside Collection. Aromas of blackcurrant jam, milk chocolate, pear and hazelnut fill the nose, complemented by notes of cinnamon and ripe blackcurrant on the palate. Caperdonich distillery was dismantled in its entirety back in 2011, making it not only closed, but firmly lost. As part of the Secret Speyside series, no fewer than six individual bottlings of Caperdonich single malt whiskies are now available to buy.

Nose: Some floral and malty hints.

Palate: Sweet, smooth and with a real oak flavour.

Finish: Long lasting smokiness.

Distillery Information

The Caperdonich distillery was a producer of Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that operated between 1898 and 1902, and then again between 1965 and 2002. Caperdonich whisky was a component of some blends of Chivas Regal.
