In 1886 William Grant gave up his career and livelihood to fulfill his vision of creating the “best dram in the valley”. So, at the age of 46, he rolled up his sleeves and, together with his nine children, he set about building a whisky distillery stone by stone. On Christmas Day 1887, the first Glenfiddich Spirit was filled into barrels. Since then, the Grant family’s pioneering spirit has led the single malt Scotch category in both taste and innovation, earning countless accolades along the way. This Connoisseur’s Collection features four prized expressions from the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky (* based on International Wine & Spirit Competition and International Spirits Competition Awards since 2000).

Glenfiddich is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky owned and produced by William Grant & Sons in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Scottish Gaelic, which is why the Glenfiddich logo is a stag.
