Plantation Rum Barbados 2014 Revesaltes Wine Cask Matured is a limited edition, premium aged rum from Barbados. This rum is aged for 8 to 10 years in oak barrels that previously held Revesaltes wine, a sweet dessert wine from the Roussillon region in France. The aging process results in a dark, golden amber color, along with aromas of toasted oak, dried fruits, and a hint of sweet cinnamon. Flavors of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and hints of smoke and spice are balanced with a medium-bodied sweetness and a smooth finish. This rum is perfect for sipping neat or as an ingredient in a variety of cocktails.
