Producer Information
Château Trillol is no more. The property was recently taken over by Alexander Sichel and becomes Domaine Peter Sichel. A total severance is now underway: Alexander has reduced the size of the vineyard to keep only the best plots, and has initiated an environmental approach that will lead to organic and biodynamic certification. This new wine is above all a local wine under IGP Pays de Cucugnan, with the aim and ambition to produce a very high quality wine.Alexander Sichel: My grandfather fell in love with this place nearly 30 years ago. Everything here appealed to him: the terroir, the beauty of the place, its history, its authenticity – and the bold idea of making outstanding wines.
Today, I am taking up the torch with the firm intention of making Domaine Peter Sichel one of the best wines of this label within a few years.
