Tradition and respect for nature are the hallmarks at Domaine Bernard Millot, whose vineyards in the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault have been in the family since the 18th century. All grapes are harvested by hand, and age-old winemaking techniques see the wines mature in oak barrels for at least 12 months. This release is the domaine’s 2019 Les Buissons Certaut, from a fantastic vintage in Burgundy. The wines are typically generous and exuberant, while retaining remarkable acidity and freshness.

Producer Information

Winemakers family since 4 generations with an exploitation of 8 hectares under own management. The vineyards are spread over Meursault, Puligny Montrachet and Beaune. Emilien took over the helm from his father Bernard, but both his wife and himself are still actively involved. Like many in Burgundy, work is done here with respect for nature. Faithful to the tradition, the typicality of the terroir dominates in the wines, albeit naturally with the individuality of the millésime. Because a wine is and remains a natural product that evolves over the years!
