Distilled in small batches by Carlos Monsalve-Algraz and Juan Carlos Jimenez-Ahedo in traditional brick ovens, Tequila Azteca is then fermented and double-distilled before resting in American oak for 6 months. $1 of every bottle sold is donated to Children Mending Hearts organization.

Amate Reposado Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Light aroma of cooked sweet agave, vanilla, and a hint of light fruit.

Palate: The initial taste is cooked agave and vanilla. A combination of pure agave, oak, vanilla and spices with a medium-long finish of oak and chocolate being the most prominent.

Finish: A lovely long finish, that soothes the senses.
