Matured primarily in bourbon barrels with a small portion of sherry hogsheads, it brings together both unpeated and peated spirit to capture the distillery’s balanced West Highland character.

Nose: Coconut, oat biscuits, and orange zest lead into salty sea air, bonfire embers, and a touch of strawberry laces and mint.

Palate: Rich and creamy with custard creams, vanilla wafer, and briny depth, unfolding into soft earthy smoke.

Finish: Lingering maritime warmth with subtle peat and a hint of sweetness.

Distillery Information

"Ardnamurchan Distillery's story is one of reviving a historic name on a remote Scottish peninsula, born from the acclaimed independent bottler Adelphi, established in 1993 by Jamie Walker (descendant of an original Adelphi distiller). Seeking control over their spirit supply, Adelphi built the new distillery in 2014, becoming the first legal producer in Ardnamurchan, focusing on sustainability (renewable energy, local sourcing) and producing both peated and unpeated malts, releasing their first official whisky in 2020."
