A rich Grande Champagne cognac using old and increasingly rare Folle Blanche grapes as well as the more common Ugni Blanc. Bache Gabrielsen cognac is one to look out for - the quality coming from this producer is superb, and it's only a matter of time before they attract more mainstream attention.

Bache Gabrielsen Cognac Extra Serenite Tasting Notes

Nose: Hint of mocha and orange marmalade.

Palate: Round and velvety with a touch of coffee, vanilla and floral tones. .

Finish: Rich, long old, pure notes of Grande Champagne.

Distillery Information

Sérénité Extra is a Grande Champagne blended cognac crafted with traditional Ugni Blanc grapes, and a generous portion of the old and rare grape variety; Folle Blanche. This blend of eaux-de-vie contains 85% Ugni Blanc and 15% Folle Blanche, that are aged in Limousin casks, for approximately 30 years, some portions in the final blend, however, are as old as 50 years.
