Nose: Initial notes of maple syrup and caramelized aromas. Dark chocolate notes emerge as the rum evolves in the glass.

Palate: Dry with notes of dried plum and dark chocolate.

Finish: Toasted oak and dark chocolate notes.

Distillery Information

The history of this rum originated in 1939 , when the Botrans, a family of Spanish emigrants, started the distillation activity in Guatemala , in the city of Quetzaltenango, which rises at 2300 meters above sea level, in a region considered ideal for the cultivation of sugar cane and for the aging of rum.
