Dalmunach 8 Year Old Special Single Cask Release #190 Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Light pear, sweet grapes and juicy peaches, enveloped in a dark chocolate note.
Palate: The taste is rounded off by fresh, grassy notes and a hint of peat smoke.
Finish: The medium-long and slightly dry finish includes cocoa, wood and spice notes as well as a final touch of peat.
Distillery Information
Named for the nearby pool in the River Spey, Dalmunach is one of Scotland's newest and most contemporary distilleries. Built by owner Pernod Ricard (Chivas Brothers) in 2014, the large yet environmentally sympathetic building occupies the former site of the Imperial Distillery which was demolished in 2013.
