This single cask expression from The GlenDronach was distilled on 18th November 1994 and spent the next 22 years maturing in a sherry cask at the distillery's Speyside warehouse until bottling in November 2016. Selected and bottled exclusively for the UK market, only 648 bottles have been produced, each one at a strength of 53.2% abv.
Glendronach 1994 22 Year Old UK Exclusive Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Mixed peel and stem ginger with dark raisins and sour plums.
Palate: Rich dark chocolate, stewed plums and prune syrup contrast crisp orange notes and vibrant oak spices.
Finish: Oak and chocolate notes lingering.
