One of only a handful of long-aged distillery-bottled releases of Glenury Royal. This 1970 vintage is very special whisky from a tragically lost distillery. Impeccable cask selection has led to perhaps the best of Diageo's recent releases from Glenury.

Nose: Some floral and malty hints.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Finish: Medium length & Spicy.

The Glenury distillery is a former producer of single malt Scotch whisky that operated under a number of different owners between 1825 and 1985, when it closed for the final time.
