Wemyss The Hive 8 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a blend of 16 different malt whiskies, each aged for a minimum of eight years.
The Hive 8 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Heady aroma, with notes of caramel, vanilla and dark plums.
Palate: Notes of oak tannins, butterscotch, caramel and burnt sugar dominate the palate.
Finish: Finish touched by hints of citrus and berries.
Distillery Information
While the exact blend remains a secret, nearly one-third of the blend is derived from a distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland, which matured its Scotch in fresh and refill sherry casks.
