Once the tequila had been produced, it was fractionated and matured in three unique types of casks: casks that had been previously used to mature Buffalo Trace Bourbon, casks that had previously been used to mature George T. Stagg Bourbon and casks that had previously been used to mature Sazerac Rye.Corazon Buffalo Trace Reposado Tequila is aged for over 10 months in casks that were previously used to mature Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
Expresiones del Corazon Buffalo Trace Reposado Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Fragrant on the nose, with some ample vanilla and butterscotch notes and also more pepper notes on the nose.
Palate: The palate with an undertone of caramel, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon integrates spices and oaky notes beautifully with a sense of bourbon cask which characterizes this fine tequila.
Finish: The finish carries out sweet and spicy notes wonderfully in a long and balanced finish.
