      Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards is a California wine producer located on the Sonoma Coast. It was founded in 1973 by Brice Cutrer Jones and is one of California's best-known Chardonnay brands. Sonoma-Cutrer's wine portfolio is a collection of Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, all of which are vinified with classic Burgundy techniques and aged in French oak barrels. The estate's top wines include the Las Pierres and The Cutrer Chardonnays. A late-harvest and a sparkling Chardonnay are also included in the collection. The company owns multiple vineyards in Sonoma County including The Cutrer, Las Pierres, Shiloh, Owsley Ranch, Kent and Vine Hill. The Cutrer, the estate's primary vineyard, is located in the Russian River Valley and is planted to 101 hectares (250 acres) of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines. . Sonoma-Cutrer's other vineyards are spread throughout multiple AVAs in Sonoma including Chalk Hill, Sonoma Valley and Sonoma Coast. Vine Hill is the largest of these, spanning 162 hectares (400 acres) of vines.
