This is the 2024 release of the Ardnamurchan AD/ Paul Launois edition. New expressions of this are always highly anticipated and for 2024 the Highland distillery has put together a release of 3198 bottles from a vatting of 12 bourbon barrels.

Ardnamurchan AD/ Paul Launois 2024 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Zippy satsuma orange, fresh laundry drying on the line in summer, lemon zest, mascarpone, thyme, doughnut peach.

Palate: Vibrant pink grapefruit with a dusting of sugar, white chocolate, salted caramel, pink salt, clover blossom honey, high-end Grüner.

Finish: Effervescent, bright, drying, lip-smacking alcohol, long finish. Very difficult to not take another sip.

The Ardnamurchan Distillery, on Scotland’s west coast, is a standout in the whisky world. It uses both old crafting methods and new, sustainable practices. Located on the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula, it makes single malt Scotch whisky. This whisky captures the feel of its wild and charming surroundings.
