Nose: The nose opens with white sugars sprinkled atop warm, homemade shortbread. Split vanilla pods reveal their seeds, intertwining with a gentle breeze of orchard freshness.

Palate: Tasting reveals a note of green apple and pear, adding a crisp edge to the creamy texture.

Finish: A sprinkle of white pepper introduces a medium finish, where the initial sweetness gently recedes, leaving behind a hint of floral honey.

Distillery Information

The Glen Elgin distillery was built by William Simpson and James Carle in 1898. in 1936, the distillery was purchased by Scottish Malt Distiller, a subsidiary of The Distillers Company. The whisky produced started to be used in White Horse blends and since 1977 in single malt whisky.
