The awesome Smoke Wagon single barrels are back. Nevada's H&C Distilling is one of the last places around that is willing to sell us cask strength single barrels with any age. That's because they got their start early and have kept growth extremely sustainable. There's not a lot say about the awesome selections coming from their oldest stocks, except that this stuff is hotter than hot. We picked out three barrels from this batch. Each bottled is without chill-filtration at cask strength; a throwback of a bourbon. These whiskies, along with some of the single casks coming out of the Joseph Magnus Distillery, are some of the most exciting single cask whiskies on the market today. Don't blink or you won't drink!

Distillery Information
Nevada H & C Distilling is the brainchild of Aaron Chepenik and screenwriter Jonathan Hensleigh who have taken a fully hands-on approach to the business. They set up shop in Las Vegas, first opening a bar downtown, The Griffin. One night after sampling some of the offerings at the bar, they were learning what they liked and didn’t and the next step became crystal clear… open their own distillery. They set up shop in Vegas and have been sourcing and producing spirits since 2014. They’ve been working with MGP since the beginning and rather than sourcing barrels they contract distill and take the new-make from their distilling runs and barrel it, age it in Nevada and await the liquid treasure that presents itself.
