The Arngibbon hails from Speyside (though we know not exactly where), and the single malt was rested in bourbon hogsheads for eight years. It's named after the Arngibbon Distillery which operated in Stirlingshire for just six years in 1825 – but now it lives on in this creamy expression!
The Arngibbon (Sons of Scotland) Whiskey | 700ML Tasting Note
Nose: Vanilla sponge and buttercream, along with fresh nectarine, and heather honey.
Palate: Oily malt, vanilla fudge, and warming oak. Malty oak and soft butter tablet
Finish: Buttery oak and a helping of woody vanilla pod.
