Producer Information
In 1902, on the death of her father Louis Latour, Marie Poisot inherited half of the wine estate, her brother Louis inheriting the other half, the core of the Louis Latour house estate today. Marie's vines are shared between her six children, including Pierre Poisot. He married Yvonne Misserey. Three children were born from this marriage between 1932 and 1935: Maurice, Henri and France. Pierre worked as a winegrower, as head of cultivation at the Louis Latour house, until his death on December 31, 1937. Yvonne Poisot then became usufructuary of her vineyard plots which were shared in 1979 between her three children. From 1902, Pierre's plots were successively farmed or shared by Louis Latour, Henri Poisot and Michel Voarick, before being taken over in 1986 by Maurice Poisot. The latter, married to Marie-Louise Piguet, has five children. The third, Rémi, took over the farm in June 2010. Of the initial estate, only the plots of Maurice and France remain, Henri having sold his in 1990.
