Enclave is deep, dark red in color. The nose reveals red fruit such as plums and cherries, a touch of cassis, white pepper, damp earth and a hint of black fruit. It has an intriguing aromatic complexity. Elegant and well-structured on the palate with firm, yet silky tannins. Persistent in the finish.

• Wine Advocate: The nose is classical and quite complex for such an early age, with aromas of tobacco, earth, cigar box and blackberries. The tannic structure is quite large and the telltale Cabernet tannins are there, with a dusty texture, a little rustic with good freshness.

• James Suckling: Clear and beautiful aromas with crushed blackberry, blueberry and mineral character. Full body, chewy tannins, and structured. Shows tannin and fruit tension.

With estate-owned vineyards in Chile's top wine producing areas – Coastal Maipo, Casablanca, Leyda and Colchagua – and extensive research to uncover the secrets of the country's unique terroir, Vina Ventisquero seeks to produce wines of the highest quality and consistency.
