Heir Apparent wines are a celebration of the long life and ageabilty of fine Napa Valley Cabernet. Most of us get our hands on these big, juicy, mouth filling wines and we can't refrain from popping the corks and indulging. But there's a downside to immediate gratification and that is that we miss out on the enjoyment of uncorking a perfectly aged gem that's got all of the richness we expected from the beginning but also the layers of complex flavor that build over time along with the supreme silkiness that emerges when the tannins have finally resolved. The makers of Heir Apparent say sure, enjoy some now, but our wines are made for you to put some away and let it age gracefully so that you can inherit that full experience.
