As Appleton Estate marks 275 years of rum distillation, the creation of The Source—a masterpiece 51 years in the making—celebrates a landmark moment in our story. As the longest tropically aged expression ever released, this rum sets a new benchmark in craftsmanship. Distilled in 1973, this single marque, 100% pot still rum was aged in a single American oak bourbon barrel. This exceptional spirit has matured under the careful stewardship of both Owen Tulloch and Joy Spence.

Nose: Honeyed raisins infused with cinnamon, maple, layered with smoky orange & vanilla.

Palate: Powerful citrus with spicy raisins, ripe figs, followed by rich oak, and dark chocolate.

Finish: Oaky and spicy with hints of Ginger.
