Sambuca Oro Borghetti is distinguished for its superior quality and unmistakable flavour. Its taste is as precious as the fruit of the plant from which it derives: Illicium Verum, the star anise. Sambuca Oro Borghetti was created in 2001 after the research carried out by Fratelli Branca, and in slightly more than ten years it has already managed to become one of the leading brands in its category. There are so many ways to taste it: you can drink it straight, after a coffee, or as a drink – try it even with one or two coffee beans! Or you can have it with some ice, add it to your coffee or dilute it with some drops of cold water.

Nose: Each sip of this liqueur greets you with a generous helping of sweet anise on the nose.

Palate: An equally sweet and viscous palate of more anise, licorice, elderberries, and oily spice.

Finish: A warming finish with a mild alcohol bite.

Originally introduced in 1845 as a remedy for cholera and various stomach illnesses, Fernet-Branca a brand of amaro which, while may not have achieved its intended purpose, has become one of the most popular bitter liqueurs brands in Italy and across the world. While their signature amaro hasn’t changed much over the years, recent years saw them tweak its flavors to take advantage of growing trends among drinkers resulting in a number of variations that delivered the same distinctive bittersweet taste with a little twist.
