Charbay Blanco Tequila

Charbay Tequila Blanco is the creation of Miles and Mark Karakasevic, 12th and 13th generation Charbay Master Distillers. The blue agave used is estate grown at a high altitude in Jalisco, Mexico. The agave plants are cared for for eight years before being harvested and baked for four days in brick ovens. The tequila is double distilled in small copper pot stills before being bottled and distributed.

Charbay Blanco Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Smooth, Fruity, Sweet, Herbal, Pepper.

Palate: Blanco features notes of black pepper, and is sweet & herbal.

Finish: This clear tequila offers an extremely smooth and satisfying finish.

Distillery Information

Domaine Charbay Distillers was founded in 1983 long before craft-distilling was popular. It's owned and managed by a family partnership of Miles, Susan, Marko and Jenni Karakasevic. Miles Karakasevic considers himself the 13th generation distiller in a line of European distillers. We're told that the distilling duties have been taken over by son Marko Karakasevic, who has become a master distiller in his own right.
