Detailed Description
This has been aged for less than 60 days in stainless steel to help the spirit develop complexity and express its terroir without the outside influence that oak would give. The end result is a layered nose of strong agave swirling green citrus notes followed by a palate of sweet mint and menthol notes. Gentle and alluring. Corazon is a single-estate tequila bottled at Casa San Matias, Jalisco. The agave is harvested from the Jalisco highlands before it is roasted in the distillery’s clay ovens for 48 hours. Fermentation is 72 hours with a proprietary yeast strain. Following distillation the tequila is oxygenated, a process believed to help in creating a softer, cleaner spirit.
