The third entry in the Experimental Series, this sees the whisky finished in French-oak ice-wine casks from Canada, adding in layers of sweetness and spice, as well as a stack of candied fruit. Nose: A delightfully complex spicy and perfumed nose.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: Very smooth and flavorful.

Distillery Information

Glenfiddich is one of three William Grant-owned whisky distilleries which sit in relatively close proximity to each other to the north of Dufftown, the spiritual heart of Speyside. Founded in 1886, by William Grant Balvenie fame, the Glenfiddich distillery is currently one of but three distilleries to bottle on site, and houses stills with a total annual capacity of 13 million litres.
