Aromas of currant, garam masala, star anise and smoked sausage make for a powerful entry into the nose of this bottling—a fairly priced wine made from Monterey fruit. Generous flavors of roasted plum, smoke and Indian spices show on the palate.

The Iron Side journey began in 2009 with a simple mission: to craft bold and finessed wines that tell a uniquely California story. Our bi-coastal wine-making team in Sonoma County and Boston began searching for a selection of special vineyards in California. Working with fruit from Paso Robles, Napa Valley, and Sonoma County we crafted the first vintage of our flagship Iron Side Cabernet Sauvignon. Our journey has evolved over the years, but our mission has never wavered. We have continued to seek out some of the best grapes California has to offer, and are now working with top vineyard sites in several premium appellations: Russian River Valley, Santa Ynez, Red Hills and Alexander Valley. Our collection has expanded beyond our flagship Cabernet Sauvignon to also include a selection of Reserve offerings - Pinot Noir, Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and our newest release, Chardonnay.
