A modern revival of Old Dominick's historic pre-Prohibition Toddy, recreated from a surviving bottle discovered in an old warehouse. It blends the distillery's high-rye bourbon with natural honey, ginger, cinnamon, clove, and citrus. The result is a rich, warming expression that sits between bourbon, spiced cordial, and classic cocktail traditions.

Old Dominick Original Toddy Tasting Notes

Nose: Fresh ginger and warm honey with light pepper, cinnamon, and aromatic spice.

Palate: Cinnamon candy, toasted clove, ginger ale, honey, cane sugar, allspice, lemon, orange, and grapefruit.

Finish: Dry and warming, balancing sweet spice with creamy butterscotch and lingering white pepper.

Distillery Information

Old Dominick traces its roots to 1866, when Domenico Canale established the original whiskey business in Memphis, Tennessee. Five generations later, the Canale family revived the distilling tradition with the modern Old Dominick Distillery, which began producing spirits in downtown Memphis in 2017. The Original Toddy pays direct homage to Domenico Canale's historic bourbon-based cordial, bringing a long-lost family recipe back into the modern portfolio.
