The dark, inky color. The wine has a very intense and expressive nose, rich, deep, going and going. It is loaded with ripe dark fruits – boysenberry, black cherry and plums – with soft tones of vanilla, cedar and a nice earthiness. It is really a nice, well integrated bouquet. Body weight and bright acidity immediately attacks the palate and you feel the concentration of flavors. Then you go through layers after layers delivering the ripe black fruits, fresh herbs and spicy black pepper flavors. The finish is long and firm with a strong, lasting tannic structure.
