        Producer Information

        Walter Scott Wines is a producer based in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the main focus, while wines from Aligoté and Gamay also feature in the portfolio. The operation was founded in 2008 by husband and wife team Erica Landon and Ken Pahlow. It is based in the Eola-Amity Hills district, and works with partner growers there and in the Chehalem Mountains, Ribbon Ridge and Willamette Valley AVAs. The partner growers are committed to dry farming without the use of herbicides, pesticides or fungicides. Wines are made using native or ambient yeast and French oak. Punchdowns and other extraction techniques are kept to a minimum. The name comes from Ken's grandfather Walter, and his late nephew Scott.
