The Wein-Gut Nigl Hotel and Restaurant is located in the Kremstal. Picturesque at the foot of the Senftenberg Kirchenberg. The former harvest farm of Prince Starhemberg dates back to the 12th century and was taken over by the Nigl family in 1994 and used as a winery. The focus in our vineyards in the Kremstal is Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, while Sauvignon Blanc and Muskateller round off the wine range. Blauer Zweigelt and Merlot are cultivated in the chalky Krems loess layers, while Pinot Noir finds optimal conditions in the Ried Pfenningberg, a very steep mica slate site. Our Rieslings and Grüner Veltliners represent top quality from Austria. Wines rich in the elegance and finesse of the Kremstal.
