White Wine: 2020 | Bruno Colin | Batard Montrachet
Moderate wood sets off smoky aromas of mostly white orchard fruit citrus blossom and exotic tea. In contrast to many examples of Bâtard in the 2020 vintage that are broad-shouldered and extremely rich here the palate impression is much like that of the Corton-Charlemagne with its tightly wound intense and precise flavors that also culminate in a linear strict and built-to-age finale.
