The estate's cellar is located in an old winegrower's house in the heart of the village of Ollon. The vines are located in two particular sectors: To the west of the village, the Verchiez hillside, very steep and facing south, is characterized by a limestone terroir where Chasselas and Cabernets ripen wonderfully. Limestone which gives the wines their minerality, a classic signature of Ollon. To the east, the place called Epeisse, oriented southwest, has more clayey bottoms. Preferred terroir for Gamarets and Pinot Noirs which draw their power and structure here. The numerous walls, the inclination and the orientation of the plots prevent any mechanization and encourage us to carry out all the work in the vineyard by hand. This allows us to offer you exceptional wines! The vine has been a family tradition for the Meylans for more than half a century. Founded in 1947, the vineyard has continued to grow over the years. Pierre-Alain Meylan has been surveying his vineyards in Chablais Vaudois for more than thirty years. An oenologist by training, Pierre-Alain Meylan materialized, in 1982, his desire to vinify his own wines. He was inspired by the most beautiful cellars and the best techniques learned during his wine and oenological discoveries across Europe. Since then, the estate has become essential in the region. At the head of five hectares of vines, Pierre-Alain Meylan offers 9 wines that you can come and taste at the estate .
