A very special bottle of 1967 vintage whisky from Ardbeg distillery. This whisky has been matured for 30 years in an Oloroso sherry cask, giving it a beautifully dark colour.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.
Finish: This is a very light and refreshing malt.

Ardbeg Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery in Ardbeg on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides group of islands. The distillery is owned by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, and produces a heavily peated Islay whisky.
