Botran Reserva Blanca Rum

Like Botran's other rums, the Reserva Blanca has been aged in a Solera system using ex-bourbon casks. However, after the maturation process, this expression has been charcoal filtered to remove the colour but keep the tasty, tasty aged rum flavours, and it was a success! All the rich oak and plump dried fruit flavours in a spirit that is perfect for cocktails. Result.

Botran Reserva Blanca Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft and balanced. Light notes of vanilla and wood.

Palate: Pleasant, soft, explosive in mouth. Fruity notes and an unusual complexity in white rum.

Finish: A subtle kick of cinnamon gives the finish a fleeting bit of heat.

Distillery Information

Situated over 1,000 feet above sea level in southwestern Guatemala, the Ron Botran Plantation enjoys generous amount of sunlight and mineral-rich, volcanic soils, making it ideal for the cultivation of fresh, raw sugar cane. There, expert farmers — many of whom have been tending to the land for decades — carefully analyze the sugar cane as it matures on the estate, harvesting only the canes that contain high levels of sucrose and fiber and low levels of impurities.
