Detailed Description
At Domaine au Martin, Jean-Luc Deyres produces Bas-Armagnac. Here you will find 3.5 hectares of vineyards with about 35 years old vines with the grape varieties Baco, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard. Deyres works with a continuous distillation process, where you do not get over 53% alcohol. For barrel storage, oak from the local forest is used. Darroze Collection Unique Vintage 1998 Domaine au Martin is bottled at 48.7% barrel strength and consists of Baco, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard. This Bas-Armagnac has spent a full 20 years in oak barrels.

Nose: The nose is very fruity, complex, with flavors like ripe quince, dry fig, orange jam, spices (vanilla and cinnamon) et verbena infusion.
Palate: In the palate, we feel again the fruity character. Some tannins, still young but silky, are taking along the brandy. Long in the palate.
Finish: Very long.
