Curaçao, the liqueur, was first invented by Dutch settlers on the island of Curaçao. The origin of this liqueur has much to do with its popularity as an ingredient in mixed, tropical drinks. Blue Curaçao is a bar staple among today’s mixologists, commonly used for giving drinks an exotic, blue appearance. Popular cocktails made with Blue Curaçao include the Blue Martini, Blue Margarita and Blue Mezcalita.

Palate: Flavors of Curacao or Lahara fruit, famous for being bitter.
