Founded in 1994 by Han and Maurice van Wees, it initially specialized in miniature editions. Ultimate whiskey is bottled with a natural color, without cold filtration, either in the cask strength version or with an alcohol content of 46%. Since 1994, over 1,000 editions of whiskey have been launched under the name "The Ultimate". The Inchgower presented here is a whiskey distilled on September 18, 2007 and aged in hogshead (American oak) cask No. 801385 for over 14 years. The whiskey was bottled at 46% abv and uncold filtered in August 2022. Inchgower Distillery, owned by Diageo, produces over 3 million liters of distillate per year. The local whiskey is a key component of Bell's blends.
